Next year’s Ride will take place on Sunday 22nd September 2019

by kind permission of His Grace The Duke of Beaufort and in aid of The Royal British Legion and the Beaufort Hunt.

Despite pouring rain spoiling the start of the day which meant that the numbers were down - at about lunchtime the rain had eased off and we still managed to attract around 400 riders to the 2018 Badminton Ride. With around 60 jumps placed around the Estate, riders were able to enjoy as a result of the rain, improved going and an opportunity to ride in this lovely setting and to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.

We received many appreciative comments...
  • "We had a fabulous ride and will definitely be back next year. Horse trials and all. Thanks to all involved"

As a result of this year’s successful event, the Ride will donate £4,000 in all to its 2 causes, with £2,000 going to The Royal British Legion (in this 100th Anniversary Year of the end of the First World War) and £2,000 to the Beaufort Hunt. The donation to the Legion will take place at Worcester Lodge on Saturday 1st December at around 11am immediately after the Yeomanry Ride prize giving.
The Ride would like to give a particularly big and public thank you to Mole Valley Farmers for their generous sponsorship, one again, of the cost of the rosettes.
